Woodlake.net is a privately owned and operated website.

Woodlake.net was the original idea of Tom Kirwan when he was a member of the board of directors but has never been owned by the association.
This website operated as the association website, off and on, for over 16 years while Mr. Kirwan was either a member of or associated with the board.

Mr. Kirwan, however, denied all requests by the board to turn the site over to the association. The association then created woodlakeonline.net. There was a lot of animosity among the board members at the time, and negative editorials on woodlake.net became a problem for the board. To end this an agreement was made with Mr. Kirwan to combine the sites. Woodlake.net served as the official site for about 10 years.

In 2020 Mr. Kirwan resigned from serving the board and the agreement that his website be the official website ceased.

Woodlake.net contains information the association's website does not and will not have. This website services not only Woodlake but also communities that surround it.
